Submerging in cold water can drastically reduce your body's central temperature as it causes your blood vessels to tighten and blood flow to decrease. This may increase blood pressure and raise the risk of cardiac arrest or stroke, especially if there are existing health concerns.
Potential side effects of ice baths include, but are not limited to, rapid or irregular heartbeat, the immediate sensation of intense cold, allergic or anaphylactic shock, along with the risk of hypothermia, and frostbite. Consult your healthcare provider before starting cold plunges or ice bath therapy. DO NOT exceed the recommended times under any circumstances.

How cold/warm can it make my water?
Poseidon can adjust the water temperature between 37.4 - 107.6°F. You can set the preferred temperature any time on the chiller or via an app.
How long should each session be?
For advanced plungers using colder water we recommend reducing the time spent in the water. For example:
38°F = 3 minutes;
41°F = 5 minutes;
45°F = 7 minutes;
48°F = 9 minutes.
Please consult your healthcare professional before using a cold plunge.
Does Poseidon keep the water clean?
Yes, Poseidon has a ozone sterilization and double filtration system, with washable & replaceable filters.
When should I turn Poseidon on/off?
You should leave the chiller on for the majority of the time, in order to keep your pod/tub clean.
When your chosen temperature has been reached, switch Poseidon off before using the cold plunge.
DO NOT leave Poseidon turned on while you or anyone else is in the water.
Is it waterproof?
No - Poseidon has a splash-proof screen but make sure to keep it away from direct water exposure, leaks and sprays. It is an electronic device.
How do I maintain Poseidon?
We recommend cleaning the filter once a week, and occasionally cleaning the metal mesh.You may also choose the replace the filter if you prefer.
How often should I clean the water filter?
We recommend doing it once a week. Take it out and rinse it with a brush and tap water.
Is Poseidon compatible with other ice baths?
Yes, Poseidon uses the standard water-in; water-out system that most ice tubs and pods use.
